Yes,I do realise there is a legal course for harrassment but my point is that pinging the harasser isn't helping anyone's case,maybe the small chance that they may start chatting. They have to already have it in their contacts, in which case they can call you anyway. Having a Signal account isn't supposed to mean anything. It doesn't even mean they use the app at all. Knowing someone uses Signal is non-revealing just like someone using WhatsApp is non-revealing. It doesn't mean you're a whistleblower, hiding from people, a terrorist, politician, or anything.
Someone's use of Signal shouldn't reveal anything about them if Signal is normalized. they don't know if you changed your number).
